Researchers from the Health Professionals Follow-up Study and the Nurses’ Health Study, which tracked the health of more than 117,000 nurses and other health professionals for eight to 14 years, studied the association between eating eggs, heart disease, and stroke risk. After factoring in risks like age and smoking, the researchers found that eating eggs did not have a significant impact on heart disease or stroke risk in healthy women and men.
